2018 Experience Overnight Driving Tour

Travel the scenic southern Michigan countryside to St. James Chapel in Indiana. Built in 1902 as a model of a Cambridge chapel in Oxford, England, it is an architectural gem. Inside, you’ll see walls lined with beautiful stained glass windows and pews hand-carved by a European craftsman. Below the chapel sits a crypt which is the final resting place for the school’s founders and four bishops of the Episcopal Diocese of Northern Indiana.

Your driving tour continues through beautiful farm-dotted countryside witnessing the Amish way of life in Shipshewana, Indiana. Lunch is traditional Amish/Mennonite cuisine after which you’ll be treated to a theater performance of Half-Stitched, The Musical.

Following the show, travel to Stevensville, Michigan to enjoy an authentic Italian dinner at Tosi’s Restaurant.

This renowned restaurant sits on ten acres of land on the scenic Lake Michigan shore and is surrounded by beautiful Italian gardens and imported Roman statues. Once satiated with food, drink, and travels of the day, we’ll call it a night and stay in Stevensville.

After breakfast Saturday morning, the drive takes you on a scenic route to Holland, Michigan where you will tour an amazing eclectic collection of automobiles and memorabilia. Afterwards, you’ll travel to South Haven, Michigan for a gourmet lunch at HawksHead Restaurant where the dining room of understated elegance offers panoramic views of the championship golf course. Following lunch you will complete the driving tour by returning to Kalamazoo to relax before dinner at Gilmore.

To ensure group pricing for lodging, meals, and activities, all registrations must be confirmed by May 1, 2018.

If you cannot attend the Driving Tour, join us for the weekend.
